Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and attend the expedition briefing. Explore Thamel and prepare for the Everest Base Camp trek.
Day 2Fly to Lukla via Ramechhap and trek through Sherpa villages, forests and suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding.
Day 3Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar through pine and rhododendron forests, crossing suspension bridges and entering Sagarmatha National Park.
Day 4Acclimatize at Namche Bazaar with a hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks.
Day 5Trek from Namche to Tengboche through scenic Himalayan trails and forests. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery with views of Ama Dablam and Everest
Day 6Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche through Pangboche village and alpine landscapes, enjoying views of Ama Dablam and Island Peak.
Day 7Acclimatize at Dingboche with an optional hike toward Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung Valley and enjoy panoramic Himalayan views.
Day 8Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche through alpine terrain and Thukla Pass. Visit the Everest Memorial and continue alongside the Khumbu Glacier.
Day 9Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep and continue to Everest Base Camp. Explore the Khumbu Glacier before returning to Gorak Shep.
Day 10Hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise and panoramic Everest views. Descend through Lobuche, Thukla and Dingboche to Pangboche.
Day 11Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar through Tengboche and rhododendron forests. Enjoy free time at Namche’s cafés and local shops.
Day 12Trek from Namche to Lukla via Phakding, crossing suspension bridges and passing Sherpa villages. Celebrate the completion of the trek.
Day 13Fly from Lukla to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu. Check into the hotel and enjoy free time for shopping or sightseeing.
