Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Drive from Rishikesh to Karchi via Devprayag and the Alaknanda River. Visit Dhari Devi Temple and stay overnight at a hotel/homestay.
Day 2Trek 3 km from Karchi to Akhrothgetha through Himalayan villages, oak and rhododendron forests, with views of Dronagiri Peak. Camp overnight.
Day 3Trek 5 km to Khullara through alpine meadows and open Himalayan ridges. Enjoy panoramic mountain views and a star-lit night at the campsite.
Day 4Trek 8 km to Kuari Pass at 12,500 ft and enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and seasonal snow trails. Return to Khullara campsite for the night.
Day 5Trek 8 km downhill from Khullara to Tugasi, then drive towards the Joshimath region. Relax and stay overnight at the base.
Day 6Enjoy breakfast and a scenic drive from Karchi to Rishikesh. Arrive by evening, concluding the Kuari Pass adventure
