Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Bishkek to Song Kul: Arrive in Bishkek, visit historic Burana Tower, then drive to Song Kul. Stay in a traditional yurt and enjoy a local dinner with an optional sunset horse ride.
Day 2Song Kul to Issyk Kul: Enjoy a morning horse trek or visit a nomadic settlement. Drive toward Issyk Kul, explore Fairy Tale Canyon, and relax at a lakeside guesthouse.
Day 3Issyk Kul to Karakol: Watch a traditional eagle hunting demonstration near Issyk Kul, then travel to Karakol. Prepare for the upcoming Celestial Mountains trek and relax overnight.
Day 4Karakol Valley Trek: Begin your 3-night mountain adventure. Trek through Karakol Valley with scenic alpine meadows and mountain views before camping overnight in tents.
Day 5Ala Kul Lake Trek: Trek toward stunning Ala Kul Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by towering peaks. Relax by the lake or hike to viewpoints before camping overnight.
Day 6Altyn Arashan Trek: Trek through mountain passes toward Altyn Arashan. Unwind in its natural hot springs after the mountain trek and spend the night camping or at a nearby guesthouse.
Day 7Karakol & Gorges: Return to Karakol and explore Jeti Oguz or Barksoon Gorge. Enjoy the surrounding landscapes, local food, and a relaxed evening before your final day.
Day 8Karakol to Bishkek: Drive back to Bishkek after breakfast. Enjoy lunch en route and explore local markets, cafés, and landmarks before heading to the airport for departure.
