Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Day 0: Drive from Delhi to Aut Tunnel (463 km, 10 hours). Gather at Kashmere Gate/Vidhan Sabha Metro Station in late evening. Meet trip captain for briefing. Depart for Shangarh. Overnight journey.
Day 2Day 1: Sainj Valley sightseeing. Switch to private cabs at Aut Tunnel. Reach Shangarh by late morning, check-in. Scenic walk in Shangarh meadows, visit Shangul Mahadev temple. Evening bonfire, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3Day 2: Trek to Pundrik Rishi Lake (5 km, 3 hours). Early breakfast then trek through rhododendron and deodar forests in Great Himalayan National Park. Time at lakeside, trek down, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4Day 3: Waterfall visit and departure to Delhi. After breakfast checkout, visit Rupiraila waterfall. Head back to Aut to board bus.
Day 5Day 4: Delhi arrival. Reach Delhi early morning. Trip ends.
