Day 1Day 01: Arrival in Ahmedabad/Rajkot and Transfer to Dwarka Your journey begins with your arrival at either Ahmedabad or Rajkot, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From here, embark on a scenic drive to the sacred city of Dwarka, known for its legendary connection to Lord Krishna. As you traverse through the beautiful landscapes of Gujarat, you'll pass by small villages and lush fields, offering glimpses of the state's rural charm. Upon reaching Dwarka, check in to your hotel and unwind. The evening is free for you to explore the local markets or relax by the serene coastal area.
Day 2Day 02: Dwarka Local Sightseeing After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore the holy city of Dwarka. Begin your day with a visit to the renowned Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Marvel at the intricate architecture and soak in the spiritual atmosphere as you witness the temple rituals. Next, head to the Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna's beloved queen. Continue your journey with a visit to the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas in India, believed to be a powerful symbol of Shiva. Later, visit the Bet Dwarka, an island accessible by a short boat ride, where Lord Krishna is believed to have lived during his ruling years. As the day winds down, return to your hotel and relax.
Day 3Day 03: Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar This morning, after breakfast, embark on a journey to Somnath, with a stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Kirti Mandir in Porbandar, a memorial dedicated to the Father of the Nation, and explore the house where Gandhi was born. After soaking in the historical significance of Porbandar, continue your drive to Somnath. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and later, visit the Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Witness the evening Aarti (prayer ceremony) and enjoy the Sound and Light Show that narrates the temple's rich history.
Day 4Day 04: Somnath to Gir, Gir Safari Start your day with an early morning drive to Gir, the only place in the world where you can spot Asiatic lions in the wild. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and gear up for an adventurous safari in the Gir National Park. As you venture into the dense forest, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic lions, as well as other wildlife such as leopards, deer, and a variety of bird species. The safari will not only offer thrilling wildlife encounters but also allow you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Gir forest. After the safari, return to your resort and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 5Day 05: Gir to Bhavnagar After breakfast, leave for Bhavnagar, a city known for its rich history and culture. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, explore some of Bhavnagar's attractions, including the Takhteshwar Temple, offering panoramic views of the city, and the Barton Library, one of the oldest libraries in Gujarat. You can also visit the local bazaars to experience the vibrant culture of the city. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6Day 06: Bhavnagar to Rajkot/Ahmedabad On the final day of your journey, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your hotel. You will then proceed towards Rajkot or Ahmedabad for your onward journey. En route, you may opt to visit the Velavadar Blackbuck National Park, famous for its blackbuck antelope, or take a brief stop to admire the beauty of the countryside. Upon reaching Rajkot or Ahmedabad, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station, concluding your memorable trip through the cultural and spiritual heartland of Gujarat.
